House of Commons is made up of men and women whp were voted in to represent their local. areas by the people who live there.The member of House of Commons is called Members of Parliament(MPs).Each one of the MPs is called a constituency.Most MPs are members of one of the three main political parties in the UK - Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat.
MPs are important in a governemnt to the society.
Mps have many works to do.One is work for the parliament.One is work for the constituency that elected them.If the MPs are elected to the Minister by the Prime Minsiter .The MPs are also to run the government departments,such as Heath,Education and Defence.When working in the Parliament,they shoud to solve the the problems for their constituents and impressed more people,include attending debates and voting on new laws.When working in the constituency,MPs have a "surgery" tohelp local people discuss any matters and concern then.MPs also attend functions, visit schools and businesses and generally try to meet as many people as possible. This gives MPs further insight and context into issues they may discuss when they return to Westminster
